How it works

Is it for me?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments can safely be applied to most skin types. It can be used to treat spider veins, age spots, improve the appearance of sun damage, scars, fine lines and wrinkles redness, rosacea, large pores, pigment imperfections and acne.
Downtime/Recovery
Depending on the treated area, some swelling and irritation may occur. However, the majority of the treatments have little to no downtime and few side effects.
Is it painful?
Discomfort is usually minimal. Many patients compare the sensation to the “snap of a rubber band.”
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments needed will vary from patient to patient. Typically, a series of 3-6 treatments, 4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. A thorough consultation is required in order to formulate an individualized treatment plan.
