IPL/VPL Skin Rejuvenation

Variable Pulsed Light VPL™ Technology

What is VPL™ ?

Variable Pulsed Light is a safe and effective technology that is clinically proven to treat acne, rosacea, thread veins, fine lines/wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and other visible signs of sun damage. Collagen boosting VPL™ treatments leave your skin looking radiant. The variable pulses of light emitted from the VPL™ can effectively treat and remove  skin imperfections safely and easily. Variable pulsed light can ensure controlled absorption of light by the target chromophore while minimizing heating of the surrounding tissue. Each light pulse consists of a sequence of rapid micro-pulses. The number, duration and frequency of micro pulses can be adapted to suit each patient, ensuring optimum treatment results are achieved every time, even on darker skin tones.

VPL Treats:

  • Age Spots
  • Freckles
  • Sun Damage
  • Spider Veins
  • Redness
  • Rosacea
  • Large Pores
  • Pigment Imperfections

Dual Filtering to Reduce Discomfort

All UltraPlus handpieces employ dual filtering technology to remove both the shorter, more harmful wavelengths, and also the longer wavelengths which are absorbed in water and cause non-specific heating of tissue. This can reduce pain and may minimize side effects which can enable you to deliver more energy safely to the tissue thus providing a more comfortable and effective treatment.
